Glock 17 - the success story continues... The new Glock 17 Gen5 FR Coyote has now also been able to convince the French armed forces! There is hardly a better advertisement for a pistol! Since the beginning of 2020, the entire French armed forces have been equipped with the Glock G17 Gen5 FR as the new standard pistol. The pistols were subjected to rigorous testing during the tendering process by the French STAT (Section Technique de l'Armée de Terre), including a minimum life test of 26,350 rounds, to ensure that the pistols and holsters selected met the extremely high standard and high military requirements of the French armed forces. The robust full-size pistol also impressed with its perfect handling, outstanding precision and reliability as well as an unusual, appealing look. The contract over the next few years includes over 75,000 pistols, holsters, magazine pouches,, various types of ammunition and protective cases.
The Glock 17 Gen5 FR Coyote was originally developed for the military and is now also available in a civilian version on the market! This particular configuration is the first Gen5 model to feature a coyote-colored frame
