The Model 84FS Cheetah is a .380 caliber double-action pistol with all of the exceptional safety features you’ve come to expect from a Beretta. The manual safety with hammer decocking device lovers the hammer and interrupts the connection between trigger, hammer and sear. The pistol cannot be fired until the trigger is pulled. Even if the pistol is dropped, an internal firing pin blocking device prevents accidental discharge.
The magazine release is reversible and allows fast exchange of the staggered magazine. The enlarged combat trigger guard provides support for a two-handed hold or use with gloves.

The rifle comes with a walnut finished hardwood Monte Carlo stock with sling swivel studs installed. The action houses Marlin’s T-900 fire control system and according to Marlin is double bedded with two screws to enhance stability. Marlin intended for this rifle to have a scope so no rifle sights were installed on the barrel. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and grooved so the shooter would have several different options for scope mounting. The barrel is a precision chambered, button rifled, heavy barrel 22-inches long, and has a recessed target crown to protect the muzzle.

The APX is a striker-fired pistol with a steel slide and a polymer frame. Perhaps the greatest feature of the slide is its low bore axis. This means the barrel is kept as close to the frame as possible, thereby allowing the size and height of the slide to be reduced. This design reduces felt recoil as the recoil can now be directed more rearward than upward through a higher grip and lower barrel alignment.
